Rym Bouriga

Dr. Rym BOURIGA is a medical oncologist and an hospital university assistant at Centre Antoine Lacassagne.

She has completed her medical oncology training in National Cancer Institut in Tunis, Gustave Roussy (Paris) and Institut Paoli Calmettes (Marsilia).

She has developed an interest and expertise in many cancers, mostly of gastrointestinal primitive location. In parallel she maintained academic research and clinical activities at Centre Antoine Lacassagne. She is an active member of ESMO, ASCO, IASLC, SNFGE and recently WALT.

On June 2021 she granted the university diploma of photobiomodulation in support care for oncology, among the first promotion of the first university diploma ever created for photobiomodulation in whole world by Gustave Roussy. She intent to develop research in this field for the benefit of cancer patients.
